| 30 MB | just double-click it — unpacks and opens the folder |
free-envy.7z

What's inside
mpv v0.41 (shinchiro build 20260610) preconfigured for a home theater:
- Press
m(or right-click the picture) for the menu — every mode is a
button, and the green ones are what's currently on - Dolby/DTS/TrueHD bitstream passthrough to the AVR, on by default
- Auto 23.976/24 Hz display switching for films, restored on exit
- Anime autodetect by release-group tags: deband for anime, movies untouched
- NLS (
n): scope 2.35:1 fills a 16:9 screen, faces stay round - Anti-halo tools for mini-LED:
Acaps the HDR peak,Splays dark
films in SDR — measured as the single strongest lever against blooming - Subtitles drawn at 203 nits instead of mpv's 1000-nit default, and placed
inside the picture rather than on the black bar. On a mini-LED TV that one
change removes the glowing box around every subtitle line F1opens the metrics console: frame budget, priciest render passes,
drops. Built because "it stutters" is not a diagnosis
Neural upscaling and RIFE interpolation are not in this build — they need
VapourSynth plugins and multi-GB TensorRT engines. The repo covers those.
Still on MPC-HC? You only need one file from the repo:
mpc-hc/nls-scope-vertical.hlsl. Two steps, instructions in the header.
