Ports the Firebase Android BoM 34.18.0: Firestore 26.6.0, Realtime Database 22.0.1, Cloud Functions 22.1.1, Remote Config 23.1.0 and Installations 19.1.2.
- Remote Config and Installations now work on the JVM, by angelix in #70 (merged via #74):
fetch,activate,fetchAndActivate, the getters, settings andreset, with Installations registration and tokens. Realtime updates and defaults from XML resources are not supported. Preferences are stored as files underFirebasePlatform.getFilesDir(), a new overridable method defaulting to<tmpdir>/firebase-files; production apps should override it with a persistent folder. - Credential sign-in and account linking (Google, OAuth providers and phone credentials), with session restoration fixes, by TomislavMladenov in #69 (merged via #73).
signInWithCustomTokenno longer produces a user with an empty UID, and the account lookup reads its profile fromusers[0], by KadirJeager in #71 (merged via #73).- OkHttp 4.12.0, as Cloud Functions 22 requires.
FirebaseAuthuses the OkHttp 4 API. - The firebase-common heartbeat store, now a preferences DataStore, works on the JVM; one store per file, so an app can be initialised again after
delete()orclearInstancesForTest(). - Reactive Streams (for
HttpsCallableReference.stream()) and re2j (for Firestore's regex filters) are shipped as dependencies.
Known limitation: Installations saves its state by renaming a temporary file over the existing one, which fails on Windows when the target exists.
