wine-gecko-2.47.2
and wine-mono-6.1.1
have been bundled within this package, this should help if multiple wine prefixes are used reducing the install footprint.
wine64
was built with MoltenVK
v1.1.2 support and will function on compatible systems just don't expect to be using DXVK
.
wine64
was also built with VKD3D
v1.2 support per request from @oscarbg, but this will lightly be useless outside of testing.
VKD3D
was rebuilt using MoltenVK
v1.1.2 all relevant dependencies were bumped accordingly.
jxrlib
v1.1 a new dependency in upstream wine.
The embedded Runtime was build using the 10.13.SDK, I'll no longer be testing wine on systems below this version so the app bundle has the min version set to 10.13 but the actual wine
binary wrapper was not rebuilt yet so best to install install via brew
wine
& wine64
were compiled using a custom patched 10.14SDK that's the reason on Mojave wine title bars will match dark mode if activated.
Apple Silicon support?
From Wine-6.1 patches for running under Rosetta2 are included, like on Intel systems running macOS Catalina and later meaning only wine64
will function.
macOS Sierra and lower support?
I'm only supporting macOS High Sierra and later.
No Flicker patch added - Bugzilla 34166
