Highlights
- Addresses issue #32 by making Codex
autoTDD routing fail closed: strict-risk signals use OR semantics, whilelightrequires every low-risk eligibility condition. - Gives route selection to the workflow that authorizes production edits; planning and debugging record the route, while execution and TDD validate it.
- Projects the selected TDD mode into the managed Aegis block in Codex
AGENTS.mdwithout replacing existing user guidance. - Adds deterministic invalid-light guards, candidate-local Codex skill discovery, Windows
cmd.exeskill-log parsing, and a four-case live route smoke. - Updates Codex installation guidance, compatibility evidence, limitations, testing documentation, and all supported plugin manifests to
2.9.0.
Upgrade note
Codex users enabling automatic TDD routing should rerun:
python scripts/aegis-doctor.py tdd-mode auto --agents-md ~/.codex/AGENTS.mdThen start a fresh Codex session. Existing manually copied global routing prefixes remain valid.
Verification
Doctor, TDD-policy, workflow-quality, activation, boundary, Codex plugin-sync, parser/unit tests, candidate-local skill triggering, and all four live Codex route cases passed. The full E2E release command was also attempted; the existing agentic benchmark supervisor remains environment-bound on Windows because it requires POSIX facilities such as fcntl.
