Highlights
- Reworked the English and Chinese global user-rule files as optional, manually copied host/profile projections instead of method owners or installation evidence.
- Made Lite the complete base profile and the sole owner of activation, priority, fast-path, baseline completion evidence, and method-layer authority rules.
- Converted Advanced into a non-standalone additive governance overlay, removing duplicated base rules while retaining TDD mode, correct-owner minimality, compatibility, prompt hygiene, dual-track governance, and workflow-owned output preferences.
- Added role-separation invariants and negative checks so Advanced cannot silently regain Lite-owned rules.
- Added a dynamic GitHub Stars badge after the latest-release badge in both README languages.
Manual Migration
aegis:update does not modify global rules already copied into a host. Existing users should:
- Re-copy the Lite base profile.
- Choose the
autoorexplicitactivation clause in Lite. - Append only the needed rules from the Advanced governance overlay.
Host-native skill matching remains controlled by the host and may require separate host profile or installation changes for strict explicit-only behavior.
Verification
bash tests/e2e/run-all.sh --full --host-profile fast- All four suites passed.
- Layer 1:
40/40 - Layer 2:
6/6 - Layer 3:
6/6 - Version audit: all nine declared package and host manifest surfaces are synchronized at
2.5.2, with no undeclared version references.
Release Boundary
This release remains Aegis Method Pack (runtime-ready). It preserves multi-host plugin-installable distribution and does not add authoritative GateDecision, PolicySnapshot, or completion authority.
