Kimi Code Automatic Routing
- Added a native root
kimi.plugin.jsonthat reuses the canonicalskills/
tree and establishessessionStart.skill = using-aegisfor new and resumed
Kimi sessions. - Made the Kimi plugin the default automatic installation path, while retaining
updater-managed direct-child Agent Skills as an explicit compatibility mode. - Defined a single-owner rule: the plugin,
$KIMI_CODE_HOME/skills/, and
~/.agents/skills/Aegis exposures must not be enabled together. - Hardened all Kimi-visible skill frontmatter with quoted, trigger-oriented
descriptions and a repository validator for Kimi's metadata boundary.
Installation, Update, And Diagnostics
- Added read-only
kimi-code-autoandkimi-code-explicitdoctor profiles to
verify plugin identity, managed root, version, session-start routing, and
duplicate skill exposure without mutating Kimi state. - Routed automatic Kimi installs and updates through Kimi's native plugin
manager; keptaegis-update.pyas the owner of explicit direct-child
compatibility installations. - Updated the universal quick-install prompt so plugin, hook, and session-start
hosts must prove native activation and automatic entry instead of treating
file discovery or a generic doctor result as completion evidence. - Added migration, reload/new-session, rollback, and verification guidance to
the Kimi host guide.
Verification And Architecture
- Added deterministic Kimi metadata, manifest, doctor, collision, and host
boundary coverage, plus an environment-bound five-case natural-language
routing smoke and resumed-session check. - Recorded the durable install/discovery decision in ADR-0002 while preserving
theAegis Method Pack (runtime-ready)authority boundary. - Fresh
bash tests/e2e/run-all.sh --full --host-profile fastverification
passed all four suites. Layer 1 passed40/40, including representative
Codex automatic and explicit skill-loading smoke, OpenCode base coverage,
and Codex plugin-sync regression; Layer 2 and Layer 3 each passed6/6. - The current release environment does not provide the
kimiexecutable, so
native Kimi plugin installation, reload/resume, and live model-routing smoke
remain environment-bound and are not claimed as fresh host closeout.
Release Surface
- Bumped all declared package and host manifest versions from
2.5.0to
2.5.1. - This release remains
Aegis Method Pack (runtime-ready), preserves
multi-host plugin-installable distribution, and does not add authoritative
GateDecision,PolicySnapshot, or completion authority.
