Dual-Baseline Bootstrap For New Project Workspaces
- Reframed the first
docs/aegis/baseline/YYYY-MM-DD-initial-baseline.mdexpectation from a flat repo inventory into a dual-baseline bootstrap that explicitly separatesProduct / Requirement BaselinefromArchitecture / Runtime Boundary Baseline. - Added an initial-baseline shape that requires current truth, non-negotiables, non-goals, alignment use, and compatibility boundaries instead of leaving early project baselines as generic structure snapshots.
Workspace Helper Governance Template Alignment
- Updated
scripts/aegis-workspace.py initso newly createdBASELINE-GOVERNANCE.mdfiles start with dual-baseline roles,Design Defect/Implementation Drift, and the sharedscope: requirements | architecture | bothvocabulary. - Kept workspace
checkbackward-compatible with existing legacy architecture-only governance files so older target-project workspaces are not broken by the template upgrade.
Current Baseline And Skill Template Synchronization
- Updated the brainstorming skill's initial baseline template to make the first project baseline a true dual-baseline bootstrap artifact rather than a ten-field inventory checklist.
- Updated
AEGIS_PROCESS_BASELINE.mdso it now distinguishes the first bootstrap baseline from later change-date snapshots and explicitly forbids regressing to a flat repo-inventory checklist.
Regression Coverage For Baseline Bootstrap Semantics
- Extended workspace helper verification so
initmust now emit the dual-baseline governance headings and scope taxonomy. - Extended workflow-quality checks so the initial-baseline template and process baseline both keep the dual-baseline bootstrap language, non-negotiables, and non-goal structure release-visible.
Verification

This release still ships Aegis Method Pack (runtime-ready). It strengthens baseline bootstrap discipline, workspace governance templates, and release-visible verification without adding runtime authority.
