v1.9.0 (2026-05-30)
Baseline Role Alignment
- Added
Baseline Role Alignmentas the shared workflow quality lens for
separating product / requirement truth from architecture / runtime boundary
truth. - Defined
Product / Requirement Baselinefor accepted problem, success
evidence, non-goals, workflow constraints, and approved requirement/spec
intent. - Defined
Architecture / Runtime Boundary Baselinefor canonical owner,
contract, source-of-truth boundary, dependency direction, compatibility,
runtime-ready/method-pack boundary, and retirement state.
Unified Defect / Drift Vocabulary
- Promoted
Design DefectandImplementation Driftas the primary result
vocabulary across process baseline, workflow quality baseline, brainstorming,
completion verification, requesting-code-review, and code-reviewer templates. - Demoted
Architecture DefectandArchitecture Driftto compatibility
aliases for architecture-scopedDesign Defectand architecture-scoped
Implementation Drift. - Updated review prompts and verification contracts so legacy phrases map back
to the shared vocabulary instead of becoming a second result line.
Aegis Invocation Visibility
- Added a natural Aegis closeout pattern for non-trivial tasks, so agents can
briefly name the boundary or quality risk Aegis held steady without emitting
stiffUsed skills/Stage handoffscards by default. - Preserved the method-pack authority boundary: invocation visibility remains
advisory workflow discipline and does not grant completion authority,
GateDecision, orPolicySnapshot. - Clarified user-language output: user-facing labels and prose follow the
user's language, while exact commands, paths, identifiers, enum values, and
necessary Aegis identifiers remain stable.
Workflow Quality Harness Entropy Reduction
- Kept
tests/e2e/workflow-quality-check.shas the stable shell entrypoint
while extracting heavy workflow quality matrix validation into
tests/helpers/validate_workflow_quality_matrix.py. - Reduced mixed ownership in the shell harness: doc/skill contract lint stays
in the shell entrypoint, while scenario matrix validation now has a dedicated
Python helper. - Added release-audit hygiene so local ignored incubator content does not create
false version-drift reports during version bumps.
Version
- Bumped all declared plugin, marketplace, package, and extension manifests to
1.9.0.
