v1.8.4 (2026-05-29)

Added docs/README.cc-gui.md for CC GUI, the JetBrains IDEA plugin layer
that wraps Claude Code and OpenAI/GPT provider paths.
Documented the CC GUI OpenAI/GPT provider skill discovery shape:
~/.agents/skills/<skill-name>/SKILL.md, with Windows junction/copy and
macOS / Linux symlink installation examples.
Clarified that umbrella installs such as
~/.agents/skills/aegis -> ~/.codex/aegis/skills can keep native Codex
workflows working but are not the preferred CC GUI OpenAI/GPT provider
exposure because the umbrella directory does not itself contain SKILL.md.
Clarified that selecting a specific GPT model profile in CC GUI does not by
itself change the skill discovery shape.
Kept CC GUI support structural and explicitly fresh-smoke pending; this
release does not claim live JetBrains plugin smoke, reload behavior, or host
adapter event rendering closeout.

Added CC GUI to the host compatibility matrix, known limitations, release
checklist, prompt-hygiene boundary, current authority map, and English /
Chinese README host tables.
Added tests/e2e/cc-gui-host-boundary-check.sh and wired it into the Layer 1
fast check so future releases keep CC GUI out of release-level fresh smoke
claims until direct host evidence exists.
Extended install-verification, goal-framing, and activation-mode checks so
the CC GUI guide keeps complete-install doctor verification, portable
Aegis goal: entry, and explicit activation-mode caveats aligned with other
hosts.
Clarified that visible entries such as Tool: exec_command are host adapter
event rendering concerns. Aegis can reduce unnecessary tool fan-out through
workflow discipline, but it does not own CC GUI visual folding,
normalization, or live IDE event behavior.

Bumped all declared plugin, marketplace, package, and extension manifests to
1.8.4.
