Workflow Quality Hardening

  • Workflow Quality baseline — added
    docs/current/AEGIS_WORKFLOW_QUALITY_BASELINE.md to define quality
dimensions for high-frequency Aegis workflows: trigger accuracy, fast-path
cheapness, output compactness, evidence freshness, artifact stability,
    workspace laziness, and authority boundary.
  • Representative quality matrix — added
    tests/e2e/fixtures/workflow-quality-matrix.json with sample-driven
expectations for simple Q&A, tiny wording edits, version/status checks, bug
fixes, failing tests, ambiguous features, approved specs, completion claims,
    long-task resume, and governance cleanup.
  • Regression guardrail — added tests/e2e/workflow-quality-check.sh and
wired it into Layer 1 fast verification so workflow hardening is checked
    before broadening skill behavior.

Compact Workflow Contracts

  • Leaner routing — kept using-aegis within the hot-path budget while
adding a compact Route / Why / Next contract for useful routing output.
  • Scaled workflow depth — clarified compact contracts for brainstorming,
    writing-plans, systematic-debugging, verification-before-completion,
and long-task-continuation so everyday tasks stay light and medium/high
risk tasks still produce reusable evidence.
  • Quick bug lane — added a compact low-risk debugging lane that still
requires root-cause evidence before editing and escalates when fallback,
duplicate owner, consumer-side patching, contract, shared logic, or
    cross-module risk appears.
  • Evidence Card — formalized the compact verification output shape:
command/check, exit status, covered scope, uncovered scope, residual risk,
    and confidence.

Documentation And Release Hygiene

  • Added Workflow Quality to the current docs index, process baseline, trigger
health baseline, English README, Chinese README, and E2E bootstrap docs.
  • Updated version audit exclusions so ignored .tmp/ dependency caches do not
appear as Aegis version drift during release checks.

Boundary

This release still ships Aegis Method Pack (runtime-ready). Workflow Quality
Hardening adds method-pack guardrails, samples, and compact output contracts.
It does not add an authoritative GateDecision, PolicySnapshot, evidence
sufficiency decision, or completion authority.
