ADR Auto Backfill
- Added
docs/current/AEGIS_ADR_AUTO_BACKFILL.md, defining how completed work should be backfilled into durable architecture decision records without turning ADRs into a manual user approval burden. - Documented the evidence-source priority for ADR backfill:
work -> plan -> spec -> git / verification evidence. - Clarified create / amend / supersede / skip behavior for ADR lifecycle decisions.
- Formalized ADR and baseline sync: ADRs record why a decision exists, while baselines record the current architecture state. ADR actions that change or confirm owners, contracts, dependency direction, source-of-truth ownership, compatibility boundaries, runtime-ready artifact boundaries, or retirement schedules now require a baseline sync check.
Documentation Wiring
- Added ADR Auto Backfill to the public current docs index.
- Updated the process baseline and both workflow guides so users can understand ADR backfill as a completion-time workflow rather than a pre-execution ceremony.
- Recorded the current limitation that helper-backed
new-adr,amend-adr, andsupersede-adrcommands are not implemented yet.
Boundary
This release still ships Aegis Method Pack (runtime-ready). ADR Auto Backfill is method-pack workflow discipline only. It does not add authoritative GateDecision, PolicySnapshot, or completion authority.
