This is the final major alpha release for 2025 and adds some significant changes and fixes.
Sounds now should work as expected for new incoming posts, mentions, replies and so on, with optimised sound event logic.
There is now an option to show account profile pictures in the timeline by going to view in the menu bar and selecting show profile pictures. The timeline will reload and the account avatars of the people who posted will show up.
Any new releases that come out in the remaining days of 2025 will be minor releases, as in the new year we aim to move on to beta stages.
