MCP server lets an AI agent drive Clop in plain language: optimise and convert files, write pipelines, and read or change any setting. Needs Clop Pro
Install it into common agents from Settings -> MCP. An entry is added to the agent's own config file
Some interesting things you can tell an agent like Claude or Codex to do with Clop:
- create a preset where I can drop videos to have them compressed aggressively, sped up, copied to ~/Videos/Demos/ and then copy a link I can send to others that expires in 3 hours
- set up a pipeline so that all the PNGs arriving in this folder are optimised and converted to webp and cropped to square aspect ratio
- why is my MKV not converted to MP4 automatically? or why do PNGs sometimes become JPEG but sometimes don't?
Search the Settings window: there's now a search bar in settings that can fuzzy search

Takes 5 to 100, or adaptive.

Holding ⌥ or ⌃ while dragging no longer toggles the drop zone or the preset zones, only a tap does
Fixed a possible crash while optimising an image that reports an invalid size
Fixed a possible freeze when files appear in a watched folder that sits on a network share or a sleeping drive

Videos converted automatically for compatibility replace the original instead of leaving a copy beside it
clop settings reads and changes any setting from the command line, with a plain-language search: clop settings schema "replace the original"
