- Chemical Database: A new offline reference tool is now available in the Tools tab.
- Substances Reference: Browse 300+ substances with formulas, aliases, categories, uses, notes, and source links.
- Ions Reference: Browse 108 ions with formulas, charges, ion types, common compounds, and notes.
- Functional Groups Reference: Browse functional groups with general formulas, structures, naming cues, examples, and behavior notes.
- Reactions Reference: Browse 140+ common reactions with balanced equations, reaction types, conditions, observations, and notes.
- Database Search: Search across the full database by name, formula, alias, type, equation, tag, or detail text.
- Category-Based Browsing: Open the database by section, then browse entries by type cards such as acids, bases, salts, ions, carbonyl groups, hydrocarbons, and more.
- Search in ChemSearch: Substance entries can be opened directly in the main ChemSearch lookup flow.

Improvements & Technical Changes
- Added separate editable JSON database files for substances, ions, functional groups, and reactions.
- Added a dedicated Chemical Database UI with section cards, type cards, result cards, and detailed entry pages.
- Added copy actions for formulas, equations, structures, charges, notes, and other reference fields.
- Optimized database searching and scrolling with lazy rendering, precomputed search text, and cached parsed entries.
- Improved Tools tab handling so the new database stays smooth even with hundreds of entries.
