This update has been in the works for a while and required a lot of effort and time, but it now feels like a whole new shortcut. Let’s take a look at the new features

🔢 Only 4 Checkpoints

This change is so helpful, I believe it deserves its own section. The whole process now only consists of 4 checkpoints, with only 3 being mandatory. This is because every checkpoint has been remade almost from scratch, and has been optimized as much as possible.
Here is the new updated checkpoint list:

Checkpoint 0: Setup

In this pre-checkpoint, the Apple blocking DNS is installed and enterprise certificates are downloaded in order to get the device ready for the full process.

Checkpoint 1: Installer

In this checkpoint, the user chooses the preferred signer (Feather or Portal) and accesses all enterprise certificates available. The user then attempts to install them and sees which one works.

Checkpoint 2: Consent

In this checkpoint, the user gives consent to the enterprise cert. that worked in checkpoint 1 and restarts the device.

Checkpoint 3: Finalizing

In this checkpoint, the user finalizes the process by adjusting a few settings in the signer and uploading the cert. to it.

Checkpoint 4: Optimization [OPTIONAL]

In this checkpoint, the user can have around 69 app sources added to Feather, E-Sign and/or Scarlet (NEW).

Big Changes

Installation process 📲

• BreakFree now installs itself using a smooth shortcut installing method
• It's pretty complex behind the scenes since it's just a shortcut yet nothing is needed on the user's end 👍
• This gives much more room for cool features such as settings

Settings ⚙️

Users can now change specific settings from the new settings menu, located in "Options". More customization will be available in future updates

Feather: a separate path

Now, installing Feather doesn't require the Portal app, thanks to a complete new method of installation BreakFree uses behind the scenes in this update. This speeds up the process immensely, by 2 checkpoints to be precise.

Improvements

• Brought back the “Welcome to BreakFree” intro message

  • Optimized it to not make it appear every time you would enter the shortcut

• Added “Upgrade to PRO” in partnership with Kravasign

  • Users can purchase dev certs to sideload infinite apps with no revokes

• Added “Support me”

  • Users can donate and support me to keep this project up ❤️

• Revisioned the “Optimization” checkpoint

  • Multiple installers can be selected and optimized simultaneously now
  • Added Scarlet
  • Optimized the process significantly

• Fixed an uncountable amount of bugs, can’t write them all here, but almost all known issues have been fixed
