As usual, first of all: thanks to Kisnou and Adarkas for their help and feedback!
What's new:
- The K2 window can now be shrunk much further than before and the device picture scales down to stay fully visible.
- New window options in Settings: remember the window's size and position between launches, always start maximized, and a button to reset the window size on the spot.
- Keys combination actions can now press up to 5 keys together in a single combination: use the + button in the action editor to add more keys.
- Makalu buttons can now run any K2 action (shortcuts, apps, macros and more), picked from the same action browser used by the other devices, right next to the firmware remap.
- The "Mapped keys" lists now read the same way on every device: key, action type and action.
- New built-in bug report: send a report straight from K2 when something goes wrong.
- Makalu Max (experimental): a battery indicator now shows the charge level in the corner of the device picture, with a charging icon while the mouse is on its cable. Not yet confirmed on a real Makalu Max — if the level is missing or looks wrong, please send a bug report.
- New Fender Studio Pro support: a dedicated DisplayPad profile with transport keys — Record, Play, Stop, Rewind, Forward, Loop, Metronome, Marker, Undo, Redo, Save — that light up with what Studio Pro is actually doing (Record turns red while recording, Play green while playing). It takes over the pad while Studio Pro is running, and the same actions are available on any key under Apps and services. Requires the free loopMIDI tool; the profile's settings include a short setup guide. (If this good for you, say thanks to Kisnou :D)
- New "Lighting" actions: change the brightness (cycle, up or down) or the lighting effect (next, previous or a specific one) of any of your devices from a key. Quick repeated presses are combined, so the device only gets the final result.
What's fixed:
- Some issues with game profiles caused crashes and glitches, even when not selected. Now they load only if they are active and if the game profiles feature is disabled altogether.
- Google Home actions now fire instantly even the first time after K2 starts: the connection to Google Home is prepared in the background at launch instead of on the first key press.
- Apps and files opened by a K2 action (DisplayPad, MacroPad, Everest) no longer start with administrator privileges, so, for example, drag & drop into them works again.
- The key picker is now a searchable list (including the numpad and punctuation keys), and shortcuts from imported Base Camp profiles such as Numpad keys, Alt + Arrow and Ctrl + Shift + - now work correctly without re-importing (not completely sure about this, test your profiles if they still don't work).
- The Makalu Max tab now shows the Makalu Max itself, with its buttons and light ring in the right places, instead of the Makalu 67 picture.
- Everest Max, Everest 60 and MacroPad now show a clear warning when the Base Camp files K2 needs are missing.
