4.0.7 – Fullscreen follow-up
The known issue that rode along in the last two releases is gone. @snkiz spotted it while working on #91, and it turned out to have a sibling that affected ESR 153 as well.
Fixed
- Fullscreen (F11) on Firefox 154 and later: Firefox hides the sidebar launcher together with the toolbar, and FoxOne now notices. The bookmarks bar revealed on a new tab spans the full width again instead of starting after a launcher that isn't there. ESR 153 keeps its launcher in fullscreen and is not affected. (#94, found by @snkiz in #91)
- In fullscreen, the find bar no longer slips under the toolbar while the pointer is on the bookmarks bar. This one happened on ESR 153 too. (#94)
Notes
- While the pointer is on the bookmarks bar in fullscreen on Firefox 154 and later, Firefox still hides the launcher, but the toolbar stays where it is, so a narrow strip of page shows beside it. That's on purpose: moving the toolbar at that moment would slide the bookmarks sideways under your pointer.
- Only
userChrome.csschanged.userContent.cssjust carries the new version number, so there's no need to copy it again. - 4.1 will be a cleanup round that removes or merges some options. If you have any of them set to something other than the default, please say so in #73 before November 8.
- Every option is explained in the customisation guide.
- Tested on Firefox 159.0.1 and ESR 153 on Windows with
browser.nova.enabledset totrue.
