github Firnschnee/FoxOne 3.4.6

The container line is back where long-time FoxOne users remember it - or rather, it can be, if you want it there. Firefox 153 moved the container indicator to the top of the tab and 3.4.5 made that look deliberate; @ctrl-maus turned up a day later with a pull request that makes the position a choice. First external feature PR in the project's history, written in FoxOne's own comment style, based on the right commit, with the clipping problem correctly solved on the way down. Merged with pleasure!

Added

  • New toggle --uc-container-line-top (#36, thanks @ctrl-maus): 1 keeps the container line at the top of the tab (the Firefox 153 layout, default), 0 pins it to the bottom edge - the classic pre-153 FoxOne look, with the glow pointing up so none of it is clipped away.

Changed

  • The context-line glow offset is now scoped to horizontal tabs. Vertical tabs render the container stripe outside the tab bar and would have inherited a flipped glow direction; they get a direction-neutral glow instead.
  • The new toggle is documented in docs/customisation.md alongside the other visibility switches.

Notes

  • Defaults preserve the 3.4.5 look exactly - if you liked the line where it was, there is nothing to do.
  • As always, this applies to the supported browser.nova.enabled=true configuration.
