3.3.3 unified hover and selection as accent text everywhere – almost everywhere. Two spots still spoke the old background-chip language and one of them stopped speaking entirely. This release brings both in line.
Fixed
- Findbar option toggles show their state again. The checked highlight for
[ab],Aa,aáandabrelied on--toolbarbutton-active-background, which no longer produced anything visible after 3.3.3 – an active option was indistinguishable from an inactive one. The toggles now use the colour-as-signal model: hover dims to#ffda85, a checked option holds the amber accent, no background chip. - Disabled context-menu rows no longer paint a hover block. Toolkit's menu.css gives disabled menuitems their own hover background (
--menuitem-disabled-hover-background-color), which slipped past the 3.3.3 override and its:not([disabled]). Cleared for all context menus.
Changed
- A disabled navigation arrow in the context menu (back/forward when there's no history) now answers hover with the hover yellow at 40% strength – the same dimmed cue a disabled toolbar button gives under its native 0.4 opacity.
