[1.247.0] — 2026-10-09

The tail of the CAR-49…58 design sweep is done — every remaining minor and polish finding, plus the dark map the previous release deliberately deferred.

Fixed

• The map renders a real dark theme. Zoom/layers/attribution went dark in v1.246.0; the tiles themselves now follow: the dark mode renders an OSM tile layer with a CSS inversion (no vendor keys), and a keyed Carto-dark preset is available via MAP_TILE_DARK_URL (its host is allow-listed in the CSP img-src). The layer remounts live on theme switches.
• Yellow callouts have dark variants (config, batch, hero warning) via the v1.246.0 callout token mechanics — and a regression caught on the way: .callout a styling overpowered .btn-primary; now scoped :not(.btn).
• Apply info-card URL no longer truncates mid-word (overflow-wrap anywhere).
• CV header buttons are one icon system (text-only; the 📁/📄/💾 emoji mix is gone).
• Tracker status tabs are one case — sentence case, folded across locales (CJK/ar/hi/ta handled without gender forms).
• Topbar icons are a single stroke-SVG set — the 🔔/🌙/🩺 emoji mix is gone; the theme button renders sun/moon via CSS, so the app no longer rewrites button text.
• The dashboard Pipeline card lost its stray pink highlight (ring is hover/focus-only now).
• Saved-search Delete is visibly destructive (.btn-danger, not a neutral ghost).
• Pipeline preview has a real empty state (title + hint + CTA, tracker pattern).
• Time/cost meta is one pattern — UI.pageMeta renders ⏱ + cost as a single line under the view title (evaluate/deep/auto/mode-page/orientation).
• Auto-pipeline lost its ✨ — the only decorated h1 in the app is back on the shared left edge.
• Batch docs URL is an inline link (no bare mid-paragraph wrap).
• interview-digest / orientation have designed empty states (title + hint + CTA).
• Career-plan export is disabled until a plan exists, actions on one row.
• stats: the duplicate «Market report» heading is gone and the region placeholder fits (shorter copy ×18, fixed width).
• Config no longer leaks absolute filesystem paths — server-side displayPath() renders ~/… or the bare file name.
• The LLM_PROVIDER helper is three short lines (×18 copy + pre-line), not a 150-char mono wall.
• Profile EMAIL card keeps addresses on one line (ellipsis; wrap only ≤480px).
• Health text no longer breaks inside words («Run buttons» stays whole; overflow-wrap anywhere).
• Help inline code survives RTL (LTR-isolated, nowrap, scrollable; career-ops in docs/help/ar.md is now coded as a token).
• The hero «Live evals» pill no longer collides in ru/ar (flex-wrap, non-shrink icons).

Added

• Dark-tile preset (MAP_TILE_DARK_URL + attribution env) documented in-code; the CSP img-src addition covers the Carto host for it.

Notes

• The dark-tile default is a CSS inversion of OSM tiles — keyless Carto now gates its basemaps behind an API key (verified by request), so the keyed preset is opt-in, not the default.
