This release adds math rendering in chat, skill groups, three new languages and a shortcut for thinking blocks. It also fixes the "Unauthorized IPC sender" error some Windows users saw on every launch, and a few bugs around restarts.
New
- Math in chat (#115, 1cd83a2). Replies render LaTeX with KaTeX.
\(x\)is inline math, and\[x\],$$blocks on their own lines and```mathblocks are display math. Prices like$5stay plain text. Single-dollar$x$math is off by default, and you can turn it on in Settings with "Single $ Math". - Skill groups (1dd72a3). In the Skills panel you can make your own groups, then name, fold, reorder and delete them. Skill files don't move, and the layout stays the same when you switch between Pi and OMP. The panel also has a search box now.
- Toggle all thinking blocks with
Mod+T(#125, 6f1dc2f). One press opens every thinking block in the chat, the next closes them. You can change the key in Settings. - Russian, Ukrainian and Turkish translations (c941de1, 93a1b5f, 98b8fb3).
Fixes
- On Windows, the app could show "Failed to start terminal: Unauthorized IPC sender" on every launch. This happened when the app ran from a folder whose path had a
~in it, like a short name such asC:\Users\ZERONO~1\...(#126, 8c59fd2). - Changing the permission mode while a turn runs now asks first. Before, it restarted Pi and killed the turn with no warning (#123, 326c0c8).
- After a restart, the chat no longer stays stuck on "working" (666f045), an OMP session no longer shows as Pi (d851cd3), and the session keeps the model you picked instead of going back to the engine default (7d5de81).
- Global skills in your home folder show their SKILL.md in the Skills panel again. The detail pane used to stay empty for them (fde125a).
- Worktrees are matched by their real path, so a symlinked data folder no longer lets two tabs share one checkout. Closing one of those tabs could remove the folder under the other (#107, #109, c55aca1, 0a44e26).
Thanks
- @Joynik for the Russian and Ukrainian translations (#110, #111).
- @omertahaoztop for the Turkish translation (#120).
- @xieqian0816 for the worktree path fix (#109).
