[1.12.0] - 2026-09-22
Added
- Added explicit node groups and strict per-group trusted-SSO, background, and
schedule credential maps for managing independent Technitium clusters in one
Companion deployment.
Security
- Isolated topology discovery, Primary write routing, PTR/DHCP enrichment,
cache flushing, retries, and operation-specific node admission by group.
Returning nodes must revalidate token ownership, permissions, membership,
and topology before first use.
Changed
- Beta container publication is now an explicit, environment-gated promotion
fromnextorrelease/*. The rolling:nextintegration image can advance
without replacing a beta candidate under active soak testing. - Source-revision container tags are channel-qualified for beta and stable
rebuilds, and publication fails closed if an immutable source tag already
exists instead of silently replacing it with a different digest. - DNS Logs SQLite rows, hostname backfill, known clients, and per-client
deduplication now include the source group, preventing identical private IPs
in different sites from being combined. - Cache flush authorization now checks Technitium
Cache: Deleteand reports
partial or skipped physical members without cross-group fallback.
Fixed
- Optional build-cache export failures no longer fail successful container publication.
- DNS Logs preserves the current refresh interval or explicit pause when switching to Paginated mode.
- Schedules and temporary overrides retain Advanced Blocking cleanup records
across uncertain writes, expiry, and restart. Pending recovery is visible on
the DNS Overrides page, and deletion waits for cleanup.
Mode changes wait for old cleanup, recovered applies honor cache flushing,
and unresolved targets are reported as incomplete.
Completed empty captures survive restart, preventing cleanup from removing
entries added to a Domain Group after an empty activation. - Schedule apply and removal now pass the Advanced Blocking snapshot revision,
preventing detected stale configuration writes from overwriting other edits. - Cluster role matching accepts the plural
clusterNodes[].ipAddressesshape
returned by Technitium v15 and matches automation probes by each node's
self-reported cluster DNS name when configured aliases or origins differ.
Testing
- Added an opt-in Docker acceptance harness that provisions two independent
real Technitium Primary/Secondary clusters and verifies trusted-SSO subsets,
cross-cluster token rejection, per-group automation admission, isolated
failures, Primary outage behavior, and bounded recovery revalidation.
