v0.2.0 — first beta
The UI is now consistent across every system and carries the hand-tuned layout directly in the
build, so it looks the same on a fresh install as it does after tweaking it by hand — and the same
on other screen sizes, not just the Thor's.
New
- Home menu themes — the light Switch-style shelf now has a Dark mode (near-black grey) and
an animated Wave background borrowed from the PSP menu, tintable from 16 colors (the PSP menu
offers the same palette now) - UI sound volume slider in Settings → Display, separate from the per-system on/off switch
- Full scraper settings — the library scraper no longer just runs: pick which systems (checkbox
per system, or all), what to fetch (cover, screenshot, title image, description, corrected title),
and whether existing data gets overwritten or only gaps filled - Reworked Assets tab in a game's options popup — every asset shown with a live preview and
its own actions: scrape fresh candidates and pick one from a thumbnail row, point at your own
file, or clear it. Covers offer separate Square and Portrait scrape buttons - Cover art is fetched in the shape each system actually displays — square for Dreamcast, PSX,
Game Boy/Color/Advance and Switch, portrait for the rest, instead of always pulling portrait box
art and cropping it - Every system is now in the catalog (59, up from 25) — 3DO, Amiga, Arcade, Atari 2600/5200/
7800/Jaguar/Lynx/ST, C64, ColecoVision, DOS, Famicom Disk System, Game Gear, Intellivision, MAME,
Master System, Sega CD, MSX, PC Engine (+CD), Pokémon Mini, Satellaview, ScummVM, Sega 32X,
SG-1000, SuperGrafx, Vectrex, Virtual Boy, WonderSwan (+Color), ZX Spectrum, Xbox 360. Each gets
the same home-shelf capsule treatment (clear logo, tinted capsule, console art). The shelf still
only lists systems that actually have games - Console descriptions on the second screen for 14 more systems
- Wii U now also finds plain
.wux/.wud/.rpxfiles, not just Cemu's extracted folders - 3DS now also finds
.cci,.cxi,.3dsxand the compressed.zcia/.zcci/.zcxi/.z3dsx
Fixed
- Layouts hold their proportions on any resolution, not just the Thor's — font sizes, paddings
and spacing now scale with the screen instead of staying physically fixed - All manual layout tweaks are baked into the build — Dreamcast pills, GB/GBC cartridges, GBA
and PS2 selection layering, GameCube title, PS2 info strip, SNES cartridge/title, Wii date, Wii U
grid/tooltip/selection frame, and the Wii/Wii U details letterbox colors - PSX carousel drift fixed at the source — the focused cover no longer wanders off-center the
further you browse (the scroll container was moving the row on top of the centering) - PSX covers now sit square inside the selection frame instead of overflowing it
- The ROM-folder setup screen no longer flashes up for a moment on every app start
- The second screen no longer sometimes lands on the main display after a restart
- Home shelf capsules were cut off on the left edge
- Soft keyboard didn't appear for text fields inside the options popups
- The Save button in the Metadata tab was unreachable
- Picking an asset now applies immediately and visibly instead of appearing to do nothing
