v0.1.4
New
- RetroAchievements integration — swipe left/right on a game's second-screen details to see its
achievement grid (locked/unlocked badges, points, progress), then swipe back; connect your account
under Settings → Metadata & Cover Art → RetroAchievements. Games are identified by the same hash
method RetroArch itself uses, with a title-based fallback for formats that can't be hashed yet
(notably.chddisc images) - "Check Now" under RetroAchievements settings — hashes and matches your whole library against
RetroAchievements in one pass instead of discovering matches one game at a time - New "Folder" tab in a platform's options popup — repoint which folder a system scans, and
individually disable auto-detected subfolders (their files are skipped on scan and hidden from the
list). General-purpose replacement for the old Switch-only update/DLC filename heuristic — works
for any platform's own separate update/DLC/beta folder now - Background update check — the home shelf now quietly checks for new releases on its own and
pops up a dismissible card when one is available, with a direct link to the GitHub download. It
stays on your current channel: a stable install is only ever offered stable releases, a prerelease
install also sees new prereleases - "Now Playing" second screen — once a game actually boots, the lower screen switches from the
full details view to a dimmed screenshot with the game's Clear Logo over it. No looping video while
you play (less load on the device, less distraction), and it dims to half brightness after 10
seconds — tap the screen to bring it back
Fixed
- Pressing Back at the home shelf's top level (nothing further to go back to) turned the screen
black instead of doing nothing - 3DS: D-pad no longer stops responding to the bottom-screen grid when the top screen has display
focus (the Thor's normal state) — button presses are now forwarded to whichever screen actually
needs them - 3DS in Single Screen Mode: the grid didn't respond to controls at all until you touched it, since
nothing claimed focus on entering - 3DS/DS: launching an emulator from either system's own screen no longer starts it on that same
(secondary) display — it now always opens on the Thor's main display - RetroArch launches now explicitly point at your own
retroarch.cfg, so your configured
shaders/overlays are actually applied instead of possibly loading a different config - Update checks could offer an older release as an "update" when running a build newer than the
latest published one — versions are now compared properly instead of just "is it different"
