• Fix text subtitle playback (regression from v26.8.1)
• Next engine:
  • Properly detect QSV capabilities for Intel 10th gen and older devices; previously they always used software transcoding
• Fix block scheduler deleting the current hour's playout items, taking the channel offline until the next block
• Fix playlists and marathons not continuing from the saved position after a restart or a playout rebuild
  • Sequential and scripted schedules first build after upgrading may still start at the wrong item; every build after that will be correct
• Fix fallback duration, history and guide group for sequential and scripted schedules
• Fix shuffled playlists and marathons (shuffle_groups) playing the wrong content after the first full cycle
• Fix multiple causes of playout build hangs
• Fix Skip Missing Items being ignored by multi-collection shuffle, shuffle in order, and playlists
• Sequential schedules:
  • Fix shuffle_sequence losing the shuffled order at the end of each build; previously the next build continued in schedule file order
  • Fix shuffle_sequence deleting the instructions between two uses of the same sequence
  • Fix a sequence that is used two times giving the custom_title of the last use to every use
  • Fix a shuffled sequence with repeat making the build run with no end; this stopped all other background work
• Fix bug in XMLTV template for episodes that was breaking thumbnail artwork
  • Those with customized episode.sbntxt templates will want to make a similar fix
• Disable HDHR endpoints when JWT is used; they never worked in this configuration in the first place
• Fix scanners deleting, duplicating and stranding each other's tags; tags now track which scanner owns them
  • Symptoms included:
    • A show losing every tag when it changed networks (dropping it from collections and schedules)
    • Networks vanishing after a library scan
    • Labels or collections that were renamed or deleted on the media server never going away in ETV
  • To recover a show that already lost its tags: deep scan it from the show page, then use Deep Scan Collections on the libraries page
  • <country> from NFO metadata is now searchable with country: instead of tag:; deep scan a local library to convert existing items
• Fix multiple channel startup failure causes
• Fix seeking more than 24 hours into content
• Fix local movie and television folder scanner to only set etag when all files process successfully
  • Previously, errors would be ignored so problematic files (e.g. malformed nfo files) would need to be touched for ETV to attempt reading them again
• Fix library collisions caused by Emby returning specials within normal seasons
• Fix Plex, Emby, Jellyfin episode updates when season has changed but episode is otherwise unchanged
• Fix episode title being hidden behind fanart in ETV UI, caused by missing season artwork
