This release brings two features that make your boards more visual and your issues easier to work through.
Task lists
Issue descriptions now support checklists.
- New task list button in the editor toolbar
- Check and uncheck items right from preview mode. Changes are saved immediately
- An "Updated" message shows up after the description is saved
Issue covers
You can now add a cover image to your issues.
- Add a cover from the new button in the issue modal header. Pick one of the issue images or upload a new one
- The cover shows as a banner on the board card and at the top of the issue modal
- Change or remove it from the header button or by hovering the banner
- Uploaded covers are also added to the issue files. Removing a cover keeps the file
Other improvements
- Softer dark mode colors
- Upgraded Ruby to 4.0.7, Rails to 8.1.4, Node.js to 26 and the Milkdown editor to 7.22.2
