Echo Addon Manager 0.2.0
Tested against Lossless Scaling 3.2.2.0 (the official build) on Windows 11 with an RTX 4070 Ti SUPER. Other setups are untested. Unofficial and not affiliated with the Lossless Scaling developers: read DISCLAIMER.md first.
New
- Ghost guard in DLSS 5 Neural Rendering: removes the faint copy of the previous frame that could trail moving things, by fading the model's change where Lossless Scaling's motion data is unreliable. On by default at 0.5; 0 gives the old behaviour.
- ReShade input passthrough and Windowed mode are built into the manager, on a new Features tab (a switch each, with a few options once on). Windowed mode can now be switched off and on again while Lossless Scaling runs; switching it on for the first time needs a restart.
- Neural Rendering is now
DLSS5NR01(folder,DLSS5NR01.dll,DLSS5NR01.log). Its saved looks and settings move to the new name automatically on first start. The Delete button on the saved looks is always visible now. - Under the hood: the addon handling, safety checks, settings file, event bus and host interface were rewritten as smaller modules with an offline test suite (126 checks); the addon list no longer flips its order when you install or remove something; a trusted-hash list that is reloaded replaces the old one.
Install
- Download
EchoAddonManager-0.2.0-x64.zipbelow and unzip it. - Close Lossless Scaling and open its folder.
- First time only: rename the original
Lossless.dlltoLossless_original.dll(keep it: the manager forwards to it). - Copy
Lossless.dll, the twoLP-iconfiles and theaddonsfolder from the zip into that folder. - Start Lossless Scaling. The manager opens by itself.
DLSS 5 Neural Rendering also needs your own copy of nvngx_dlssnr.dll next to LosslessScaling.exe; it is not included and this project does not say where to find it.
Upgrading from 0.1.0: copy the new files over the old ones. Your settings carry over. The old LSP-NeuralRender, LSP-ReShade and LSP-Windowed folders are ignored by the manager, and you can remove them.
