Immich v3 support
The app now works with Immich v3 servers. Albums load again, the picker finds new and deleted photos, and video durations show correctly. (#15 by @singlatushar07)
New features
- SSO login. You can sign in through your server's OAuth provider, such as Authentik or Authelia. (#16 by @yuval-ziv)
- mTLS client certificates. You can pick a certificate from the Android KeyChain on the login screen, and the app presents it only to your Immich server. (#5 by @landiDev) Video previews also use the certificate. (#25)
- User CA certificates. The app trusts CA certificates that you install on the device, so servers with a private CA work. (#9 by @Fenisu)
- Themed icon. The launcher icon has a monochrome layer for Android themed icons. (#7 by @landiDev)
Fixes
- Android 14 setup. The setup command uses
device_config puton Android 14, which has nooverridecommand. Android 15 and later still useoverride. (#23) - API key permissions. The README lists the permissions an API key needs. (#24)
Before you update
- The picker resyncs your library once after the update, because the media collection ID changed.
- Logins with an API key now check the timeline for changes instead of using the sync stream. Immich v3 doesn't allow API keys on the sync stream.
- Video previews now fail with a clear error if a proxy strips the HTTP
Rangeheader. Immich itself always supportsRange.
