- Prevented light-mode active tabs from washing out on hover by stopping a later generic tab rule from overriding the intended active treatment.

- Expanded end-to-end coverage for dark-mode button readability, tab hover contrast, centered modal layout, internal modal scrolling, and the existing container overflow constraints.
