Pre-release for long-term testnet acceptance. The binary and tag are 0.5.0; mainnet deployment is not approved by this release.
Upgrade from 0.4.4
- Upgrade to Cosmos SDK 0.53.6, CometBFT 0.38.21, IBC-Go 10.5.0, Wasmd 0.61.14 and WasmVM 3.0.7, built with Go 1.24.7.
- Use the exact on-chain plan name
0.5.0and Cosmovisor pathcosmovisor/upgrades/0.5.0/bin/dorad. - Preserve existing consensus and module parameter values during migration. Initialize the new governance fields with
min_deposit_ratio=0,proposal_cancel_ratio=0and expedited minimum deposit of 110,000 DORA. The expedited voting period is one day and threshold is 0.667; preflight checks compatibility with existing governance parameters. - Preserve historical upgrade handlers and production behavior except required SDK/IBC/Wasmd compatibility and reviewed safety fixes. Remove obsolete capability and ICS-29 stores only after migration preflight passes.
- Set the new-node minimum gas price default to
10000000000peaka. Existing operator configuration is not overwritten. - Include empty IAVL restart compatibility, ICA wiring/CLI corrections and SDK startup/configuration compatibility.
Artifacts and validation
- Publish static Linux amd64 and arm64 binaries and archives, with SHA-256 checksums. Verify the binary version and embedded commit before deployment.
- The preceding source candidate
d37fa73passed four-node mainnet-snapshot upgrade, first-block/restart parameter checks and controlled bidirectional ICA execution/timeout tests. These are historical candidate results, not acceptance of the newly versioned release artifacts. - Revalidate the published artifacts, then perform approximately one week of long-term testnet stability and real Wasm/IBC business testing before mainnet approval. Recheck live migration prerequisites before scheduling the upgrade.
- Do not overwrite this tag or its artifacts if fixes are needed; publish a new version. After the upgraded binary commits state, do not start 0.4.4 against the same database.
Build identity
- Commit:
02ad289952182ce573b2bc14125ac7f8b3defe5e - Passing unit tests, enabled simulations, native Linux builds and Docker smoke checks
- Assets are the exact native CI artifacts; the redundant emulated tag build was cancelled before publication.
