Beads Viewer v0.25.2 keeps every view and the footer inside the terminal, and fixes two installer problems.
- Views and the footer stay inside the terminal. With the shortcuts sidebar off (the default), a view could draw more rows or columns than the terminal has, pushing the footer off screen and wrapping long lines. Insights drew about 67 rows in a 30-row terminal, board cards with long label or blocker lines grew taller than their slot, and the tree view was one row too tall. Each view is now sized to fit and clipped to the window, and at 100 columns and below the footer drops whole hints (keeping
? helpto the last) instead of being cut mid-word. install.shworks with onlyjq. Picking the release archive only worked with Python, so a machine with justjqfell back to building from source. Both tools now work and are tested to give the same answer.- The macOS Go installer fallback runs and is checked. When
install.shneeds Go on macOS and offers the official.pkg, it never got a download URL, so that path did nothing. It now builds the URL from go.dev's file list and refuses to run the package unless its SHA-256 matches the one go.dev publishes.
Archives cover Linux amd64/arm64, macOS amd64/arm64 and Windows amd64. Verify downloads against checksums.txt. Release assets include individual checksum files, the sealed release-gate receipt and an SBOM generated from the packaged Linux amd64 binary.
