Test build, not a release. 1.6.7 plus fixes for two reports. Only install it if you were asked to.
- Update Local Music: Opus and Ogg files with very large embedded pictures (tens of MB, such as full scans) could make the Q2 run out of memory and restart partway through a scan. Their tags are now read without the pictures, so the scan finishes and they keep their title, artist and album.
- Cover Flow: opening it on a large library for the first time could freeze the Q2 until it restarted (from 1.6.7-test1).
- Crash log: if the Q2 restarts during Update Local Music or while opening Cover Flow,
q2-crash.lognames the file it was reading and shows how its memory grew (from 1.6.7-test1).
Install: copy update.tar to the root of the card, then System settings → System Update → TF card update. After installing, run Update Local Music again.
If it restarts: let the Q2 start up once with the card in, then send q2-crash.log from the root of the card.
