- Buttons: a Centre press made while the top button (Back) is held is ignored, so a loose wheel that closes both on one press only goes back.
- Home: in Split, the album art pans smoothly instead of moving in small steps.
- EQ: Simple has a Presets button, between the switch and Reset, which is now a small R box. It opens stock presets (Pop, Rock and the rest).
- Coverflow: swipe the covers.
- Settings: the slider and the minus and plus buttons on Resume Songs, Crossfade and Wheel Sensitivity work by touch again.
