• Themes
  • The new Material Design theme preview is available as dx.material.blue.light.css (learn more and leave feedback).
• DataGrid
  • The new filterPanel option set allows rendering current filter criteria in the new filter panel and integrate the FilterBuilder component into DataGrid. The filterSyncEnabled option provides the capability to synchronize filters across the visible filtering UI elements or disable such synchronization (learn more and leave feedback).
• Charting
  • The new series.aggregation option set, argumentAxis.aggregationInterval and argumentAxis.aggregationGroupWidth options allow implementing different aggregation scenarios (learn more and leave feedback). The following use-cases are available with this release:
    • apply built-in aggregation methods;
    • apply custom aggregation methods;
    • specify the aggregation interval;
    • access the aggregated point and it’s original source points;
    • configure aggregation on a series level or entire chart.
• Integrations
  • The DevExtreme code was optimized to support deeper framework integration.
    • DevExtreme Angular components now support Server-Side rendering (see more information in devextreme-angular repo).
    • DevExtreme React wrappers are available as a preview (leave your feedback in devextreme-react repo).

Improvements

• Editors
  • The showAnalogClock option in DateBox controls how to show time editors - full mode with analog clock and numberboxes or compact mode only with numberboxes.
• Form
  • The new button Item Type allows rendering a button inside a form with buttonOptions and the specified alignment.
  • The editorType item option now accepts dxRangeSlider value.
