RESIDENT EVIL: SHATTERED v0.0.2
This is the second public test build of RESIDENT EVIL: SHATTERED, expanding the original launcher and setup experience with broader gameplay, menus, encounters, and multiplayer experiments.
What's Changed
- The main menu has been expanded into a clearer starting point for choosing how you want to play.
- The options screens now provide a more complete way to adjust display, language, frame rate, and controls before starting.
- A dedicated multiplayer menu is now visible, but it is not functional yet; SplitScreen is currently the only working multiplayer mode.
- Cooperative play now reaches further into the mansion instead of stopping at the initial setup flow.
- Versus mode lets players turn the mansion into a direct survival-horror competition.
- Tyrant Battle provides a focused battle experience built around facing the Tyrant in a dedicated encounter.
- Room transitions, shared scenes, rescues, deaths, endings, and the map now behave more consistently during extended sessions.
- Inventory handling, equipment, ammunition, the bazooka, and the rocket launcher have been expanded to give players more ways to prepare and fight.
- Crow, Yawn, Tyrant, Cerberus, Plant, and Zombie encounters have been added or refined with more dependable movement, attacks, reactions, and sounds.
- Room puzzles, pickups, story moments, fixed-camera scenes, animation, music, sound effects, and controller response have received broader support across the test build.
Package
This release contains the Windows launcher and client only. The multiplayer server is not included in this package.
Supported Game Version
This build is intended for GOG's Resident Evil 1 PC Port with your own legally obtained game data. Other versions are not currently treated as supported public test targets.
Important
No original Resident Evil game assets are included in this release. This remains an early public build; expect bugs, incomplete behavior, and compatibility issues.
