Edge-Drop v0.1.4 - Fullscreen Protection (Game Mode) & GitHub Community Templates

Welcome to Edge-Drop v0.1.4. This update introduces automatic Fullscreen Protection for gamers and presentation presenters - detecting Direct3D games and fullscreen media via native Windows APIs - alongside zero-friction GitHub Issue templates and a dedicated Feedback & Support section in Settings.

Key Features in this Release

1. Fullscreen Protection (Game Mode)

• Automatic OS Game Detection (fullscreen.ts): Integrated native Windows API SHQueryUserNotificationState detection to identify Direct3D fullscreen games (QUNS_RUNNING_D3D_FULL_SCREEN), presentation modes (QUNS_PRESENTATION_MODE), and busy states (QUNS_BUSY).
• Hover Suppression during Gameplay: Automatically suppresses edge hover when a fullscreen game, video, or presentation is active in the foreground, eliminating accidental panel expansions while flicking the mouse in FPS games (Valorant, CS:GO, Apex, Fortnite, Call of Duty, etc.).
• Instant Auto-Retract: The exact moment a game or video transitions into fullscreen, Edge-Drop automatically retracts and closes the panel so it never stays frozen open over fullscreen media.
• 0ms Latency & Hotkey Access: Background polling runs every 1 second, allowing cursor edge polling (startCursorPoll) to query a cached boolean with 0ms overhead. Global shortcut Alt + C remains active for instant on-demand access anytime.
• Settings Toggle (Fullscreen Protection): Added a user toggle under Behaviour in Settings (Fullscreen Protection, enabled by default).

2. Zero-Friction Community & Feedback Integration

• Single-Field Markdown Issue Templates: Replaced complex form questionnaires with ultra-simple, single-box Markdown templates for Bug Reports (1_bug_report.md), Feature Requests (2_feature_request.md), and Feedback (3_feedback.md).
• Settings Support Link: Added a COMMUNITY & SUPPORT section at the bottom of Settings with a Submit ↗ button linking directly to the GitHub issue template chooser (issues/new/choose).

Installation Instructions

1. Download Edge-Drop Setup 0.1.4.exe from the Assets section below.
2. Run Edge-Drop Setup 0.1.4.exe to install or upgrade.
3. The app will launch silently in the background. Move your mouse cursor to your configured screen edge to slide open the clipboard shelf!
