Nuvio Reshaped TV tester build
A test build for people helping to find bugs before changes reach Beta. Expect things to break.
Highlights
- Added bounded HD preview recovery for low-swap TV boxes when available RAM and measured memory pressure show that a frame can be decoded safely. When Android restricts pressure readings, recovery requires a larger RAM reserve beyond the platform low-memory threshold. Measured reclaim stalls still block it.
- Recovery admits one frame at a time, releases its native decoder immediately after rendering, and backs off when playback buffers or drops frames.
- Small devices now check memory before downloading a keyframe, use one raw buffer, and release completed raw data and decoder contexts during memory waits.
- The active smaller-copy generator uses the same guarded HD recovery path. Copy source selection and timing/edition checks are preserved.
- Seek preview diagnostic exports now include the app version, device, Android version, process architecture, Java heap and current memory-pressure readings. Memory waits also record available RAM.
- Preview generation remains in the background with the existing 4K protections.
