Nuvio Reshaped TV tester build
A test build for people helping to find bugs before changes reach Beta. Expect things to break.
Highlights
- Fixed preview generation concentrating on the beginning or resume area while later parts of the movie stayed empty. Background work now covers both ends and spreads across the whole timeline before adding local detail.
- Jumping to a blank section now prioritizes that position in the smaller-copy generator too, including after its background pass ends.
- Spending the background request budget no longer disables later seek previews for the whole playback session. Foreground work has a separate bounded allowance that renews.
- Failed frames receive a second coverage attempt. A later seek can retry a failed section after a cooldown without restarting playback.
- Temporary network failures now enter a cooldown and recover. Cancelled scrub downloads no longer count as server failures.
- Fixed waits that continued after a copy had already filled the requested frame, and copy frames waiting for a larger batch before refreshing the preview.
- Existing copy caches become available as soon as their file identity is verified; new copies become visible after three generated frames while retaining the existing visual verification requirements.
- Generation remains in the background with the existing playback, memory and rate-limit protections. This build does not add a startup playback hold.
