Conker's Bad Fur Day: Reloaded 1.4.5

Fixes for widescreen, multiplayer and the free camera, and a new camera setting.

Downloads

• Windows: ConkerBFDReloaded-v1.4.5-Windows.zip. Unzip it and run ConkerBFDReloaded.exe.
• Linux (experimental): ConkerBFDReloaded-v1.4.5-Linux.tar.gz. Extract it and run
  ./ConkerBFDReloaded. Needs glibc 2.35+ (Ubuntu 22.04 or newer and similar), Vulkan, SDL2,
  GTK 3 and FreeType.
• HD Icons texture pack (optional): ConkerBFDReloaded-HD-Icons-v1.3.3.rtz (same as before).
  Textures by GameBeast92,
  modified, under CC BY 4.0.
• HD Icons (French) texture pack (optional, for the French translation):
  ConkerBFDReloaded-HD-Icons-French-v1.3.5.rtz (same as before).

You need your own US ROM of the game. Your saves and settings carry over.

Fixes

• The Haybot's red view now fills the whole window in widescreen, with no seam (#33). In It's War,
  the bullet holes and cracks on the screen reach the window's edges too, and the wasp hive turret's
  frame fills the window.
• Multiplayer split screen shows every player's level, not only the last player's: the others
  had black walls and floors (#29). In widescreen every player's view is widened the same way, and
  Tank and Heist matches no longer stop the game.
• The free camera no longer bounces while riding Franky (#34). Franky's hops were read as steep
  slopes, tilting the view up and down.

New

• Camera: Turning Response (General tab): Smooth eases the free camera's turning in and out
  as before, Direct turns at once with the stick and stops as soon as you let go (#32).
• Hold to Skip shows the key you've set for L when you play on the keyboard, instead of "L".

Experimental

• The multiplayer fix is tested on Windows, not yet on Linux. Linux in general is tested on Windows and
  in a Linux test setup, not on a real Linux PC or a Steam Deck yet.
• Still from before: Photo Mode is experimental, Move While Shooting is the shotgun only, Ledge Grab can
  sometimes catch an edge that isn't really a ledge, the German translation is tested with the intro and
  the speech bubbles, the Russian one is recognised but untested, and the HD Icons (French) pack is
  incomplete.

License: the project's own code is MIT; the downloadable program includes N64ModernRuntime
(GPL-3.0), so it's distributed as a whole under the GPL-3.0. Details are in the included LICENSE.
