Conker's Bad Fur Day: Reloaded 1.3.4

Keyboard and mouse button prompts, a steadier free camera in tight spots, and a few fixes.

Downloads

• Windows: ConkerBFDReloaded-v1.3.4-Windows.zip. Unzip it and run ConkerBFDReloaded.exe.
• Linux (experimental): ConkerBFDReloaded-v1.3.4-Linux.tar.gz. Extract it and run
  ./ConkerBFDReloaded. Needs glibc 2.35+ (Ubuntu 22.04 or newer and similar), Vulkan, SDL2,
  GTK 3 and FreeType.
• HD Icons texture pack (optional): ConkerBFDReloaded-HD-Icons-v1.3.3.rtz (same as before).
  Textures by GameBeast92,
  modified, under CC BY 4.0.
• HD Icons (French) texture pack (optional, for the French translation):
  ConkerBFDReloaded-HD-Icons-French-v1.3.3.rtz (same as before).

You need your own US ROM of the game. Your saves and settings carry over.

New: keyboard and mouse button prompts

Playing with the keyboard and mouse, the button pictures in the speech bubbles now show the keys and
mouse buttons you've actually bound: SPACE, the arrow keys, a mouse with its button lit up, WASD for
the control stick, and so on. They're sharp at any resolution, fade in and out with the bubbles, and
follow your bindings if you change them. With a controller you see the N64 buttons as before.

Button Prompts on the General tab: Automatic (switches to whatever you last used),
Controller or Keyboard and Mouse. Modern uses Automatic, Classic the N64 buttons.

Improved

• Free camera in tight bends. Where a wall right behind Conker (with rock above too) left the
  camera no room, it could end up inside Conker or the wall and flip around (the bend at the top of
  the slope outside the barn). Now it turns aside to the nearest open angle there instead, and eases
  back to yours as soon as there's room. Everywhere else it keeps your angle as before.
• Presets. Modern now also turns on the Air Meter and Automatic button prompts; Classic turns the
  Air Meter off and keeps the original field of view and N64 buttons.

Fixes

• The aiming dot no longer shows while Conker reads "What To Do" (or while any speech or thought
  bubble is up).

Experimental

• The button prompts are tested in speech bubbles; the pause menu's stick picture isn't converted yet.
• Longer Breath and the Air Meter (tested underwater in Bat's Tower), Invert Swimming while carrying a
  cog, and the French translation (tested with a new game).

License: the project's own code is MIT; the downloadable program includes N64ModernRuntime
(GPL-3.0), so it's distributed as a whole under the GPL-3.0. Details are in the included LICENSE.
