DSpace 7.0 Beta 2.1 Release of the Backend / REST API only.
This is an updated version of the 7.0 Beta 2 release which includes a fix to a major bug which blocked the ability to browse Collections. See DS-4487 for the bug description. It is fully compatible with the DSpace 7 Frontend dspace-7.0-beta2 release
As a Beta release, this is NOT PRODUCTION READY. Additional Beta-level releases are forthcoming which will continue to add features to 7.0. For a rough release timeline, see the DSpace 7 Release Goals.
This DSpace Backend does not have a user friendly interface. Therefore, we highly recommend installing the DSpace 7 Frontend dspace-7.0-beta2 release) to use with this Backend. Please note that the Frontend and Backend need not be installed on the same machine.
