Introduction
PHP 5 was released on 1st July 2004 and brought object-oriented programming to what was called a language for Personal Home Page. It enjoyed a level of hype and adoption for a whole decade more than the levels seen by Rust today.
PHP 7, released in 2014, is more popular than even PHP 8+ due to the breaking changes in the latter.
In this release, we focused on evinse for PHP applications > 5 that use the composer package manager.
