Changes to Amiigo:
Features
- Amiibo image saving toggle — Option added to control whether downloaded amiibo images are saved to disk.
- Amiibo image previews — When selecting an Amiibo in the My Amiibo list an image preview is shown if an image is available.
- Generate all amiibos at once — New buttons in both the Settings UI and the Amiigo Store context menu to generate every amiibo in bulk.
- Full settings UI overhaul — Settings reorganised into submenus with a dedicated theming menu, a reinstall Emuiibo button, a dropdown for category options, and a checkbox for the random UUID setting.
- Multi-language support — UI text is now fully localised; English (en-GB), Spanish (es), Simplified Chinese (zh-Hans/zh-CN), and Traditional Chinese (zh-Hant/zh-TW) are included.
- Automatic image resizing — Downloaded images are resized for compatibility with Tesla / Ultrahand.
- Amiibo name from JSON — Amiibo display names are now read directly from the amiibo JSON data.
- Re-introduced the ability to update the local amiibo API cachie from the internet.
- O(1) series data extraction — Amiibo series lookup replaced with a constant-time function.
Bug Fixes
- Emuiibo install now reboots the console — After installing, the app prompts to reboot so the sysmodule loads correctly.
- Emuiibo path buffer size — Passed the correct buffer size to SetActiveVirtualAmiibo.
- Misc networking and utility fixes — Corrected edge cases in download logic and amiibo path handling.
Changes to Arriba:
Features
- Wrapped text element — New WrapText element that automatically breaks text onto multiple lines when it exceeds a configurable pixel width.
- Improved Chinese font support — Extended the font rasteriser to better handle CJK glyphs, with fallback glyph resolution for characters not covered by the primary face.
- O(1) tag lookups — findObjectsByTag is now backed by a hash structure.
- Shader uniform location cache — Uniform locations looked up once and cached per shader.
- Faster mat4 multiplication — Matrix multiply logic reverted to old version, ~11% faster at -O0.
- Steam Deck / SteamOS support (Not used for Amiigo) — Added an SDL-based input backend so Arriba can run on Linux.
Bug Fixes
- UI object lifecycle — UIObject construction/destruction made fully explicit.
- InertialList stability — Suppressed a lag spike during list load, and corrected several edge-case scrolling behaviours.
- Vsync frame cap — Vsync enabled on the swap buffer call.
