Hi everyone!

First, if you missed the v3.4.0 announcement, make sure to check it out before updating!

This release fixes the regressions reported after v3.4.0, and a few older issues as well. It also brings a new pop-up option many of you asked for as soon as the new swipe to close was out, you can now limit the gesture to the header of a pop-up, or turn it off completely 👌

Sub-buttons are also easier to read, their text and icon now turn dark when the color behind them is too light, like with a white or a yellow lamp. This was already tried in the past then reverted, but this time it should work perfectly (it was about time!).

The first two sub-buttons finally have better contrast!

💡 New features and enhancements

• Slide to close options:
  A new "Slide to close" setting in the pop-up editor lets you choose between "Auto (default)", "From header only" and "Disabled". In YAML, set slide_to_close to header or false. #2627

• Better contrasts on light sub-buttons:
  A sub-button with a background based on its state now switches to a dark icon and text when that color is too light, like with a white or a yellow lamp. #2450

✔️ Bug fixes and improvements

• Fixed a pop-up header left on screen after going back:
  With a card like custom:uix-forge on the same view, going back after opening a pop-up could leave its header on screen, and the pop-up closed without its animation. #2589

• Fixed the dashboard moving sideways when a pop-up opens:
  On a view without a scrollbar, opening a pop-up shifted the whole dashboard by the width of a scrollbar. It only showed with classic scrollbars, like on Windows. #2629

• Fixed a map inside a button-card closing its pop-up:
  Dragging a map placed inside a custom:button-card slid the pop-up closed instead of moving the map. #2627

• Fixed a slider that did not come back:
  When an automation set an entity back to the value it had before you moved the slider, the slider stayed where your finger left it. #2493

• Fixed states shown in lowercase at startup:
  A card drawn before Home Assistant had loaded its translations could keep showing the raw state (like on) until that entity changed. #2572

• Fixed wrong colors right after loading a dashboard:
  Some cards could take a few seconds to show their right colors when a dashboard loads. I could not reproduce this one myself, so please let me know if you still have this issue! #2628

• Fixed the card editor blocked by the Sub Button Wheel module:
  With this community module on bottom sub-buttons, the Cancel and Save buttons of the card editor stopped responding. #2631

• Fixed bottom sub-buttons missing from subButtonState:
  In templates, subButtonState and subButtonIcon now include every sub-button, bottom ones included, in the order the card displays them. #2165

• Less work when a pop-up or a dialog opens:
  Opening or closing a pop-up, or a Home Assistant dialog, was mistaken for a theme change, which made every card read its colors again for nothing.

• Improved en-GB translation:

Over the past few years, I’ve been working on Bubble Card almost every day to make it the best it can be, and I still can’t believe how much it has grown in popularity. Watching the community grow and seeing so many people using my work has been incredibly rewarding ❤️

I’m also finally happy with my own dashboard, built entirely with Bubble Card and only new custom modules I've been working on for months! Including one that adds unique colors and styles to all cards, one for the weather, one for graphs, square cards, time...
