- LastWave for vivo (Origin Island & Music Widget): A new separate
vivo-originAPK lets vivo's Origin Island and the OriginOS music widget follow LastWave playback. OriginOS only shows apps from vivo's own allowlist, so this build ships under an allowlisted package name. It installs as a separate app and updates itself only from the vivo APK.

- Music Haptics Now Actually Fire: The Tactile Rhythm Engine now reads audio straight from the player's output path, so vibrations work on every playback route, including Hi-Res and lossless (previously the audio never reached the haptics engine).
- Beat-Locked Vibrations: Every pulse is timestamped against the audio clock and lands exactly when you hear the beat instead of a few hundred milliseconds early. Pending pulses are dropped on pause, seek and skip.
- Stronger, Clearer Pulses: Shaped 50–85 ms pulses scaled from each motor's minimum to full strength, longer pulses on budget motors, auto-gain so quiet and loudness-normalized tracks still drive the motor, and proper click effects on phones without amplitude control.
🛠️ Fixed
- Duplicate Launcher Icon: Changing the app icon or updating the app can no longer leave two LastWave icons. Exactly one launcher entry is kept enabled, and any leftover duplicate is cleaned up automatically the first time you open the app.
- Security Scanner Hardening: Removed an unused start-at-boot receiver pulled in by a support library and replaced reflection-based FFmpeg decoder loading with a direct call, reducing false-positive antivirus heuristics.

Note
vivo users (LastWave-v5.1.1-vivo-origin.apk): OriginOS only shows apps from vivo's own allowlist in Origin Island and the music widget, so this build uses an allowlisted package name. It installs as a separate app next to regular LastWave (data is not shared), it cannot be installed alongside the real Spotify app, and it updates itself from this vivo APK only.

Notice for Android 7.0 – 9.0 Users (LastWave-v5.1.1-android7.apk):
- Hardware GPU glassmorphism / live blur requires Android 12+ and is automatically replaced with translucent dark canvas acrylic styling on older devices.
- The media notification uses classic Android media controls rather than Android 13's wavy-progress player.
- For any device running Android 10 or newer, please install the standard
LastWave-v5.1.1-universal.apkfor optimal performance and memory efficiency.
