Cheeky Foveated DLSS v0.5.4
This update improves eye-tracking stability during blinks, fixes a D3D12 VR compatibility issue, and strengthens DX11 transport and DLSS-NR stability since v0.5.3.
- Gaze hold on signal loss: a new advanced eye-tracking setting holds the last gaze position through brief tracking interruptions without resetting DLSS history. The default is 400 ms, adjustable from 0 to 1000 ms; longer interruptions still return smoothly to fixed placement.
- D3D12 VR compatibility: fixes a deadlock that could freeze Cyberpunk 2077 when entering R.E.A.L. VR with OFXR Bridge by keeping unrelated D3D12 command lists out of Cheeky's calibration synchronization.
- Stable DLSS-NR history: moving the foveated region through DX11 transport now preserves NR guide allocations and temporal history, avoiding unnecessary resets as gaze moves.
- Safer DX11 transport cleanup: waits for private DX12 GPU work to finish before releasing transport resources, including during shutdown and error recovery.

DLSS-NR still requires a compatible nvngx_dlssnr.dll, supplied separately or available through a compatible NVIDIA App runtime override.
