dwm-titus v0.5.2

This release refreshes the standard Fedora installer ISO and includes the latest
Quickshell control center fixes from the local checkout.

Highlights

  • Fixed the Quickshell volume widget so it displays the default output device.
  • Updated output switching so PulseAudio/PipeWire-pulse playback streams move to
the selected sink after changing the default output.
  • Prefer the managed dwm-titus controls helper from the embedded checkout, which
prevents stale installed helpers from masking ISO payload updates.
  • Added missing Fedora Kickstart packages for Bluetooth utilities and nwg-look
so first-login desktop tools are installed by the ISO flow.
  • Added regression coverage for the Fedora ISO builder and Kickstart package map
so regular and NVIDIA ISO releases are checked before publishing.
  • Rebuilt both Fedora Server netinst based installer ISOs with the current
Kickstart files and embedded dwm-titus payload.
  • Bumped the project version to 0.5.2.

Assets

  • dwm-titus-0.5.2.tar.gz: validated source/binary release archive from
    make release-check.
  • dwm-titus.iso: standard Fedora Server netinst based dwm-titus installer ISO
    for non-NVIDIA video cards.
  • dwm-titus-nvidia.iso: Fedora Server netinst based dwm-titus installer ISO
with NVIDIA Kickstart and boot arguments for NVIDIA systems.
  • dwm-titus-0.5.2-SHA256SUMS: SHA-256 checksums for the 0.5.2 release
    artifacts.

Validation

  • make check-kickstart passed.
  • make check passed.
  • make release-check passed and rebuilt release/dwm-titus-0.5.2.tar.gz twice
    with identical bytes.
  • Both installer ISOs were built from
    Fedora-Server-netinst-x86_64-44-1.7.iso.
  • Standard ISO GRUB entries include inst.ks=...:/dwm-fedora.ks.
  • NVIDIA ISO GRUB entries include inst.ks=...:/dwm-fedora.ks,
    rd.driver.blacklist=nouveau, modprobe.blacklist=nouveau, and
    nvidia-drm.modeset=1.
  • Both ISOs were inspected for the embedded Kickstart, quickshell package
entry, and current Quickshell payload files.

The installer ISOs were not boot-tested in a VM before publishing.
