Chihuahua has officially leveled up to v8.0.0! We've come a long way from chasing our tails to chasing the future of decentralized finance. This version is bigger, better, and more bark than ever before. Your Chihuahua just learned some new tricks.

What's New? 🦴

1. Barkchain™ Optimization
We’ve rebranded our consensus mechanism to “Barkchain™.” It's exactly the same as the old one, but it sounds way cooler. Plus, it's faster—because Chihuahuas never slow down.

2. Snappier Transactions 💨
Transactions now settle faster than your Chihuahua when someone’s at the door. Block finality is now so quick, you'll blink and your transaction is already confirmed.

3. Poof of Woof™ Upgrade 🐕‍🦺
Introducing Poof of Woof™—because proof of stake sounded too serious. Validators now earn extra rewards for keeping the blockchain "pawsitive." Remember: More woofs, less poofs.

4. Stability? Who Needs It? 🐾
JK, we improved stability by 800% (we didn’t do the math, but trust us, it feels like a lot). Chihuahua nodes are now more resilient than a Chihuahua guarding a sock.

7. Anti-Squirrel Detection 🐿️🔍
Implemented cutting-edge Anti-Squirrel algorithms to prevent random distractions on the blockchain. No more rogue forks caused by virtual squirrels.

Bug Fixes 🪲

• Chasing Tail Loop Fixed: Nodes no longer enter infinite loops when attempting to "catch" non-existent transactions. Tail chasing is now confined strictly to the mempool.

• Squeaky Toy Bug: Resolved an issue where transactions made a loud squeaky sound (on some platforms). We know it was annoying, but some Chihuahuas liked it.

• Bone-Chewing Transaction Delay: Fixed a rare issue where blocks took forever to finalize because they were "chewing on too many bones" at once.

Known Issues 😅

• Excessive Barking: Validators still tend to bark at every little transaction. We’re working on making them more selective.
  Sassy Chihuahua Attitudes: Our community has reported that some Chihuahua nodes are ignoring transactions out of pure spite. We think it’s just their personality—try giving them a treat.

• Chihuahua DAO: Coming soon to let the pack take control. The community will finally have its say on important issues, like what color the Chihuahua mascot should be (spoiler: it’s brown).
• Smart Collar Contracts: We're working on contracts so smart, they know when your funds need to go for a "walk." Expect them in v9.0.0—now with leash integration!
