• Apple Silicon required – The bundled tools (xclog, xcsym, xcui, xcprof, xcproject and axbuild) now require Apple Silicon. On an Intel Mac, Axiom says so at session start and points to xcodebuild, log stream, atos and xctrace instead, and the MCP server explains that a tool “is built for Apple Silicon (arm64)” when one is called.
• Bundled tools – Each tool now ships as an Apple Silicon build, halving their combined size from about 30 MB to 15 MB. The Codex plugin and the axiom-mcp npm package carry the same builds.
