Released October 8, 2026
Updated
- Tool references – The
xclog, xcsymandxcprofreferences now explain how to run each tool in every harness, including Pi and MCP clients, and map each command-line flag to its MCP parameter. - dSYM discovery –
xcsym’s help, its reference and the MCP tool descriptions explain that--dsymapplies to every image, and that--dsym-pathsroots are searched last and replaceXCSYM_DSYM_PATHS. Theaxiom_xcsym_crashMCP tool also describes the CLI’s exit codes.
Fixed
- iOS and Xcode facts – Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Pi, the MCP server and every subagent now receive the same iOS and Xcode facts, naming the selected Xcode and its iOS SDK.
- Xcode selection – Axiom now follows the Xcode you’ve switched to, as
xcrundoes:AXIOM_XCODE_PATHwhen set, otherwisexcode-select -p, which honorsDEVELOPER_DIRin its.apporContents/Developerform. Session context, Apple documentation read from inside Xcode (by the assistant or the MCP server) andxcuiall use that Xcode. - Claude Code sessions – Axiom’s session-start context now fits within the 10,000 characters Claude Code keeps inline, so the assistant receives all of it, and it lists every bundled tool.
- Prompt routing – Skill suggestions in Claude Code now come only from what the user typed, not from the task reminders and notifications Claude Code adds to a prompt.
Changed
- Skill attribution – When an Axiom skill materially shapes an answer, the assistant now names it once (“per Axiom’s
axiom-dataskill”), in every harness.
